OUR MISSION

The mission of the Amicitia Foundation is to promote dialogue between nations; initiating cooperation between citizens regardless their ethnic and racial affiliation, political views, as well as social status. In addition, Foundation aims to build cooperation between other organizations and government institutions.

We achieve this goal through a holistic social activity, based on organizing cultural events, social campaigns, releasing publications, and above all through the commitment and good will of many people, who want to change the world with their positive energy!

ABOUT US

The Amicitia Foundation was founded by Krzysztof Grzywna and Arkadiusz Stachowiak in the interest of society and the good name of Poland on the international arena. The founders are convinced that in terms of recent diplomatic crisis it is crucial. The Foundation’s mission is to focus on young people and their perception of the world, so that the next generations could cooperate with each other without prejudice, different versions of history and insinuations

Structure

Arkadiusz Stachowiak – President of the Board

Arkadiusz Stachowiak graduated from the Warsaw School of Economics in global business, finance and management. Arkadiusz was actively involved in the Student Forum Business Center Club region of Warsaw, of which he was vice-chairman. He is the founder and president of the board of Greenlight Solutions sp. z.o.o, where as a young entrepreneur he dealt with importing electronic equipment to Poland. He also has worked for the Skarbiec Law Firm, and currently holds the position of a member of the supervisory board of Skarbiec.biz S.A.

Krzysztof Grzywna

Krzysztof K. Grzywna – President of the Council

Krzysztof Grzywna graduated from the Warsaw School of Economics in economics and finance & accounting. Professionally he deals with the FinTech market as an Account Manager in Comarch S.A. He is actively involved in many social initiatives, being a member of the Erasmus Student Network and a member of the Board of Political Economy Student Association. Krzysztof is the grandson of Marta and Władysław Miazgowicz, who during the Holocaust saved Jews and were therefore honoured with the Righteous Among the Nations Medal by the Yad Vashem Institute in Jerusalem.

Michael_Schudrich

Michael Schudrich – Member of the Council

Rabbi Michael Schudrich graduated from Stony Brook University in 1977 with a Religious Studies major and received an MA in History from Columbia University in 1982. He received Conservative smicha (rabbinical ordination) from the Jewish Theological Seminary of America and later, an Orthodox smicha through Yeshiva University from Rabbi Moshe Tendler. After leading Jewish groups on numerous trips to Europe, Schudrich began working for the Ronald S. Lauder Foundation and resided in Warsaw, Poland, from 1992 to 1998. He returned to Poland in June 2000 as Rabbi of Warsaw and Łódź, and in December 2004 was appointed Chief Rabbi of Poland. 

Magdalena Dorosz

Magdalena Dorosz – Member of the Council

Magda Dorosz is the Executive Director of Hillel Warsaw where she is providing educational and social activities for Jewish young adults who are looking for a meaning of their Jewish heritage and to help strengthen their Jewish identity.Magda coordinates Taglit Birthright and Masa programs in Poland connecting young adults to Israel, Jewish people and Judaism.Magda graduated from the University of Wroclaw and received an M.A. in public administration and now lives in Warsaw.
